As an Air Force brat, I spent my earliest years in El Salvador and Panama becoming a bilingual brat. I've spent the rest of my life as a true Southern girl. Let's get a few things straight, though. My kind of Southern means saying "Morning!" to strangers, writing thank-you notes longhand, and appreciating azaleas, pecan pie and War Eagle football. No double-wides or chewin' tobacco, thank you. I studied architecture and design at Auburn, then worked for prestigious ad agencies in Birmingham, Atlanta and Houston. Won lots of awards. Even taught advertising classes. I started the first of several businesses at age 27. Now I'm a freelancer. My passions? Family. Travel. Cajun food. A. Hays Town's Creole architecture.
And I still absolutely love this exciting, ever-changing, rewarding |
